Fusion

At Fusion (Year 7 to Year 13) and Rooted (Year 9 to Year 13) Youth, we aim to create a space where every young person can thrive. We believe that we are called to journey together with each teenager to grow in their relationship with God, helping them discover all He has for them and who He has designed them to be. It’s a privilege to be a part of empowering and equipping teenagers to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their homes, communities, school and friendship circles.

Fusion is for year 7 to year 13 and is all about having fun, building friendships, and growing in our love for God and people! Fusion is a safe space that is made available every Friday night during school term time from 7pm to 9pm at The Vine, Boughton Lane. All young people, in the above year groups are welcome, it doesn’t matter whether you’ve attended church all your life or never before. We’d love to get to know you and have fun together.

We meet at Boughton Lane for: Table Tennis, Nintendo Wii, Ps4, board games, hot chocolate and more!

Rooted is for Year 9 to Year 13 and takes place on the middle two Sundays of the month from 7pm to 9pm. At Rooted, it is about having fun, building friendships, going deeper in our understanding of God’s love and purpose.

NEWDAY

Newday 2025 - Monday 28th July returning on Saturday 2nd August 2025

Newday is a major youth event that takes place at the Norfolk Showground (Just outside of Norwich)with thousand of young people. This event, originally organised by the Newfrontiers family of churches and now by an independent charity called Newday Generation, hosts around 8,000 plus young people each year. The aim of the week is to teach and inspire this generation to be more passionate about their faith in Jesus as well as equipping them to reach out to others who don’t know God.

During the morning and evening there are ‘big’ worship and teaching sessions. The rest of the day, there will be a choice of excellent seminars to inspire and equip young people. During the afternoons, there will be lots of activities taking place for our young people to engage with; sports - such as a football tournament, dodge ball, basketball plus, music sessions and various workshops! There are also a number of cafes with live bands and gigs in the evenings.

Rooted meets twice a month on a Sunday night (term time only) 7pm-9pm and is for school years 9-13 at Boughton Lane. Dates for Rooted can be found in the calendar in the “What’s On” section.
